Motorola S-Record to BINARY File Converter
This utility program creates a BINARY file from a Motorola S-Record file.
You can use BINARY files with most EPROM programmers and you can easily use
them for CRC or checksum calculations. Options for this utility program are

CONVERT
ASCII TO HEX
THE EXE FILE
THE BAT FILE
INSTRUCTIONS
copy the files to be converted to a folder.
copy convert.bat to the same folder.
copy asc2int.exe to a location in the path or directly to the folder where the
files to be converted reside.
using My Computer or Explorer, navigate to the folder containing the files.
Execute the convert.bat file.
all the .prm files int the folder will be converted to Intel hex files (.hex).
The original files are not modified.
The Intel hex format is universally supported by all modern programmers.
if files are named other than .prm, edit convert.bat accordingly or run asc2int
*.ext where ext is the extension.
To convert a single file .... run
asc2int filename.ext
A list of the converted files is generated in convert.log.
