VERIFY Operation (batch)

VERIFY performs a byte-by-byte comparison between the MASTER card and each TARGET card.

To start the VERIFY sequence on a given bank, perform the following steps...

Insert the MASTER card in the MASTER slot (if not already there).
Insert the TARGET cards in the 8 remaining TARGET slots.
The LED under each socket will light green as each card is properly inserted.
When the last TARGET card is inserted, the VERIFY will begin automatically.

The LCD line 1 shows the operation and the PASS:FAIL counter.
The LCD line 2 shows the operation progress in percent and as a bar.
The LEDs will light solid yellow while the operation is in progress.
DO NOT remove/insert cards while the LEDs are yellow.
When the VERIFY is completed, the LEDs will blink RED for failing cards and blink GREEN for passing cards.
The PASS:FAIL counter is incremented accordingly.

Remove the TARGET cards.
The LED under each socket will remain blinking RED or GREEN indicating the status of each card.
When the last TARGET card is removed, the CFCC is ready for the next VERIFY.

Repeat these steps as many times as desired.
When finished....

and the VERIFY sequence will stop...

VERIFY Tips/Tricks

Prior to each batch VERIY, the newly inserted cards are tested for compatibility and sector capacity against the MASTER device. If you get failures immediately after VERIFY starts, see the MENU operation capacities section on determining the sector capacities of the inserted cards.

It is not necessary to remove the MASTER card between batches. When you are prompted to 'Remove Cards' the CFCC ignores the MASTER card so you only have to remove the TARGET cards. If you are always verifying the same MASTER, you can just leave it inserted all the time even when you remove power from the CFCC.

You can press [STOP] during VERIFY to abort the current batch.
Press [STOP] a second time to abort the VERIFY sequence completely.
