Adaptor List for Gangpro-848 / Chipmaster 7100/ Chjpmaster/7200/5800/5200/
5100 /2100 Shooter-Z/
How to find the
right part number of the adapter you need?
Run Logipro
software and select the device type. Please make sure to
select the correct part number with correct package. For
example, AT89C91 and AT89C51-P44 are different types. The
latter is in PLCC44 and former is in DIP40. When AT89C51-P44
is selected, information window will open in which adapter
part number and chip insertion instruction is displayed. You
can find most adapter part numbers this way.
For some low cost programmers you may not find proper chip
name with the package you need. Then please refer to Adapter
list.
In the TOP PCB column are adapter names which include
package information. For example, PLCC44/D44 means a PLCC44
adapter, SOIC16/D16 means a SOIC16 adapter. For SOIC/SOP/SSOP/TSOP
devices there are several sizes for same pin count. Please
refer to chip BODY WIDTH and PITCH column to confirm the
right one. DIP/SOIC/SOP/SDIP adapters may accomodate smaller
pin-sized devices. They have the same BODY WIDTH and PITCH
parameters.
High performance programmers such as
Chipmaster 7100, XPRO-48 have
fully populated pin-drivers, in which each pin is equipped
with voltage and logic signal lines. All socket adapters are
connected 1 to 1 from to to bottom. These are universal
(device independent) adapters.
In
Chipmaster 7100,
devices with more than 48pins may be used by expanding the
pin-driver size to 100 by use of PEP module and plugging in
the appropriate socket adapter on top of it. These adapters
are also universal.
Some 56pin flash memory device adapters are designed to do
away with the PEP pin-expander module by making the adapter
device specific. In order to accomodate different type
devices we came out with different type Bottom pcbs, which
are attached at the bottom of the socket adapter module.
Economy programmers such as
Chipmaster 5100,
etc. are populated with optimized pin-drivers, in which not
all pins are populated with all voltage and signal lines.
This necessitates some socket adapters to be device
specific, non-universal. For example, PLCC44/D40-2 fall in
this category.
